Anderlecht vs Arsenal
Well Sheasby and his men travelled to Belgium for Anderlecht and Sheasby took this opertunity to catch up with his nigerian star on loan at Beveren to aviod a work permit. Joseph Akpala said to Sheasby “I am enjoying my time at Beveren very much so, It is helping me learn about the belgium league and game. Also it is helping my attacking skills develop, I have yet to score a goal at Beveren but i am hoping that soon enough i shall be able to get a flurry of goals”
Sheasby swiftly moved onto the team hotel to meet up with the team for the team meal and then they all retired to there rooms for some rest before the big match. Sheasbys men fought very hard against Munchen in the first champions league match at the new stadium and now it was time to pay Belguim champions Anderlecht a minute. Sheasby was a little disappointed that the defense crumbled so late on to let a goal in but he said afterwards to the media “Thats football, sometimes it goes in your favour and well sometimes.. this happens. Its inevitable in football really ” At least Sheasbys men have got two points from his first two champions league matches. Lets just hope the league form hits the european opposition too.
