First premiership matches of the season

Well Its Sheasby’s first EPL match in charge of AFC. His first opponents where Charlton FC. The match was hard fought between the two london sides. Sheasbys men fought hard for the win but without much avail, it was a 1-1 draw, shown by screenshot. Sheasby had this to say after the first match in charge “I found this game very hard as i knew charlton were a hard side to face with Darren Bent up on the front line so i decided to put Jens in goal, he didnt prove much help to my defense tbh and put in a fairly poor perfomance for me, i was not pleased”

The next two matches for me where also again London opposition so the team didnt have far to travel, Sheasby trained his men every day preparing for these fixture. The next side for me was Fulham, Leighton Baines covered the back line so many times in this match tracking back and then i was robbed in the 90th minutes! Arghhh a Claus Jensen screamer right into the net preventing my first win, I slammed my first against the craven cottage dug out with anger. Screenshot here.. Sheasby said after the match “I felt the red card was justified and as for that Claus Jensen screamer, wow what a shot, I can’t help but feeled robbed though”

Next it was onto West Ham, and after the recent signings of Argentian pair Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez.. Sheasby had to decide what team to field against these two players Heres how the match went Well Sheasby came and had an interview after the match and this is what he had to say “I am very please with the midfield, attack and defense for this match, however what let the side down here was too much complancency and not enough effort from Manuel Almunia. Apart from that i am thrilled, Emmanuel Frimborg, only 17 and getting on the score sheet! This lads gonna be bigger than Custard Jelly was in the 60’s” The reporter laughs at Sheasbys custard jelly joke and walks off. Sheasby stands there thinking “Could have had a better first home game in the EPL but i guess i have bigger fish to fry”
