Champions League group stage first game results

Well its my first home fixture of the champions league against german giants Bayern Munchen aka Bayern Munich. Sheasby had this to say before the match got underway “I have known about Bayerns threats to my side for a while now, Oliver Kahn, Musterman, and Van Bommel are amung some of there more experienced champions league players so this can prove to be a tough fixture” The match is played and heres the result.  A 1-1 draw with Arsenal taking the early lead! Shame they couldnt keep it going in the second half as this would have proved a vital win for Sheasbys men. Still after the match he had this to say to the Evening Herald “I am thrilled with a draw against this top draw side. It proves that some of my youngsters have what it takes to improve there game and possibly replay the german side in the summer in a friendly, who knows what will happen”
Sheasby then walked into the dressing  room and started chatting with his team before they left for home.
